CURICULUM
of Athos Othonos
I was born in Cyprus in 1959. I received my degree in Medicine at the Athens Medical University in 1985.
I was trained in Homeopathy in Greece, at the Medical Institute for Homeopathic Research and Application. I became member of the Board of Directors of the above institute for several years. I am founding member of the Panhellenic Medical Homeopathic Association and was for several years member of the Board of Directors.
I practice Homeopathic Medicine as a private doctor in Athens the last 25 years, being a member of the Athens Medical Association and a member of the Hellenic Homeopathic Medical Society.
For many years I participated as lecturer for the training programs of the above Homeopathic Associations for doctors, dentists, veterinary doctors and pharmacists.
The last years I have developed a complete course on Homeopathy concerning the teaching of the Miasmatic Idiosyncratic Homeopathy(MID). MID is what we usually call Classical Homeopathy based on the Miasmatic and Idiosyncratic Theory both in diagnosis and treatment. It is addressed to medical doctors and students of Medicine as well as to homeopathic doctors who wish to have a miasmatic and idiosyncratic point of view in the theory and practice of Classical Homeopathy. The lectures on the above course are given for free. The complete course of lectures can be found at my internet site in Greek and is now being translated in English.
It’s my firm belief that both the general public and doctors should have free access to subjects like Homeopathic Medicine and Holistic Philosophy, therefore, anyone can read or download my books on the above subjects in my web site.
